In 2000 I built a 3300 sq. ft., hand-hewn log home. It was located on 2.5 acres at Snoqualmie Pass.
This was the view from the trout pond next to Coal Creek.
The roof support was two solid log trusses in the front and two sets of 5 king pins in the rear. The front gable was inclosed using 8 triangular windows and the rear used 4 trapazoid windows. The daylight basement had a 5'x8' picture window overlooking the trout pond and Coal Creek. The main deck had 2 three door french doors. The daylight basement had two 2 door french doors. The ceilings were 12 foot and from the ground to the ridge was 48'.
